It has been lovely having the opportunity to participate in more sporting events this term. We took a small group of Year 3 and 4 children to attend the annual tennis festival up at Victoria Park. The sun shone, and the group of children did Manor proud, with how they tackled each activity. A first place was the icing on the cake! Unfortunately, the rounders festival had to be cancelled this week due to heavy rain but we've also enjoyed a dance festival and hockey tournaments this term. We are looking forward to our final events next term (stoolball, athletics and badminton), hopefully in the sunshine!
The KS1 sports afternoon was a huge success. It was the first year that the wonderful Active Education ran the events for us. The children, staff and paretns had a fantastic afternoon. We are excited to repeat this again for the KS2 children on 13th July. Follow the link below to see the programme of events.
