Sports Newsletter 2017-2018
Last year was a very good year for sport in Manor.
The year started with many successful team performances.
Term 1
The year started with the Year 5/6 Football 7 a-side
What a great start to the year.   We won the tournament and went on to represent Uckfield in the area tournaments and then on to the Sussex finals at Worthing.  This was the first time in ten years a primary school from East Sussex had qualified for Sussex finals.
What a great achievement.

Year 5/6 Cross Country
Manor entered two teams.  Another successful event with Manor A boys finishing a brilliant first with the B team finishing sixth.  Manor A girls were unfortunate to finish just second.  Eight children went forward to Crowborough cross country.

Year 5/6 7 a-side
Another fantastic win for our so called 'B' team.

                                                               Year 5/6 Girls' Football 7 a-side
An exciting tournament with a tight victory for Manor. The girls' football club has had an enormous impact on their confidence and progress and they are very excited to take part in the North Wealden finals.

Term 2
Indoor Athletics
Manor went to Indoor Athletics.   The field events included a chest push, vertical jump and a very energetic speed bounce.  The team worked very hard and achieved an excellent  2nd place.

                                                          North Wealden Football Finals
What a fantastic afternoon.  The boys and the girls were very proud of what they achieved.

                                                      Key Stage One Multi-skills
Children from Year 2 had great fun competing with children from all over North Wealden in a Multi Skills Festival held at UCTC.
